Okay, here's the correct addy, I hope, to my other blog about JWs and the blood issue:
http://360.yahoo.com/chicinshiningarmor
And here is a link to a review of Ms. Louderback-Wood's article, "Jehovah's Witnesses, Blood Transfusions And The Tort Of Misrepresentation":
P.S. How do you create those links at this site, Danny? -

I can relate. If you don't want to think about it, it's kinda' hard to talk/blog about it; and a lot of my JW experience, I'd rather not think about. But, here I am, still trying to recover after leaving them as a teen, 25 years ago.
So, what do you blog about? I'd bet you have more to offer than you realize, as far as blogging about your experiences with the bOrg. Anyway, I'm pooped and goin' to bed. Night! Best wishes all! -TJ Nobody -

We are the experts. Only ex-jws can share the truth about the JWs. We certainly can't rely on the elders to tell it to the world.

That link should work. Let me know if it doesn't. I've had enough of this; it's 4 a.m. I'm off to bed -

Yes, SKally. Thanks for putting that up from freewebs. I'm using that now and advertising it all over the place. It should be "crawling" within 24 hours. Thanks again, Danny. I've been going all over the net with my stuff, very slowly, though. -TJ

What's this about hospital liason can get access to your medical records?
by crankytoe inhello, i think i read something like this last week, but i thought it didn't concern me so i didn't pay much attention.
a close friend of mine is being pressured by one of the "friends" to let them be their hospital liason, - or whatever the term is that allows someone from the hall to speak for you if you're incapacitated and in need of surgery.
they were going to do it, until i told them i read "somewhere" that this liason can get access to their medical records/history.

You might want to share the Kerry Louderback-Wood article from the Journal of Church and State, entitled "Jehovah's Witnesses and the Tort of Misrepresentation," with anyone interested in acting as a hospital liaison. Please feel free to share my letter of January 15, 2006, found at my blog regarding this issue: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog/ Any individual taking it upon themselves to act as a liaison in this matter, should be aware of the risks they take in representing an organization involved in misrepresenting secular facts (about the risks of refusing blood transfusions and), and that has suppressed life-saving information about changes in its own policies. Please share my letter with anyone who may benefit from it and feel free to link to it and comment on it at my blog. Thanks! -T.J.

Thanks for that info, Rebel 8. I will try to link it to my blog, where I have an open letter to the medical community, re: the Louderback-Wood essay on misrepresentation. Anyone who wants can use it, link to it, or comment on it at my blog at: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog/ Let's campaign hard on this one. It's worth the effort. Thanks again! -T.J.

Could This Be Done???
by Frannie Banannie ini wonder what would happen if "in-good-standing" (not outed) jdubyas could start webpages locally containing kh and bethel scandals and gossip and news (not wts news, just cong members' news).. they could build the site anonymously via an anonymous isp, couldn't they?.
then they could provide info for concerned parents on pedophiles within the congs and expose some of the hateful things that the heirarchy says and does at the kh and at brothel bethel.. they advocate spying on each other?
good.

Madame Quixote
The most effctive use of such a plan might involve local law enforcement officials in some sort of sting operations, following pedophiles around KH's. It would need to be highly organized, with highly committed individuals doing the spying and evidence-collecting. I don't know if I have the energy it takes to pretend to be in "good standing" with the JW borg members. What an enormous chore it would be.

Okay, I'm definitely in. See my latest blog, an open letter to the medical community and to their legal departments, re: the Louderback-Wood Misrepresentation article at:

Danny,
Thanks for all the great info. Can you suggest any more user-friendly weblog sites that are easy on old-fart computers? Mine is infuriatingly slow at Yahoo!360.
Also, I tried pingoat and was blacklisted on my first attempt to advertise the blog above. Any suggestions? I've contacted the pingoat forum already. Thanks! -TJ -

I tried to get a look at the scanned facsimilies, but got a forbidden message when I clicked the link. Also, I'm confused by the way the article is written and deditorialized on. who wrote what there?
